Our Story
Hello! I’m Laura, the founder and formulator at Lola Jane Naturals. Our brand is a nod to my late Grandmother, paying homage to the nickname she gave me and her love of beautiful products.
I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Exercise Physiology and practiced Massage Therapy and holistic health for nearly ten years. The path to creating our own brand began after multiple miscarriages and the premature birth of our son at 25 weeks followed by his 4 month NICU stay.
Through these health challenges, we sought as many natural remedies and ways to simplify the products we used in our home and on our bodies as possible. I formulated our first product, our best-selling Body Butter, and it worked to soothe all skin irritations for our whole family so well, that friends and family began requesting it and recommending it to all and Lola Jane was born.
I am passionate about stripping out excess where you can and integrating products with fewer ingredients into your daily routine. It’s about taking baby steps toward a more mindful and natural lifestyle and not feeling like healthy swaps have to be all or nothing. I formulate each Lola Jane product to make this process effortless and to prove that you really only need 4 incredible elements from nature to make a lip balm you can’t live without!
